My Laptop Keeps Shutting Down Automatically Specially when i am listening to songs browsing in many tabs.. its seems my laptop over heats very fast too.. I Am on Vista is this a hardware issue or some kind of software issue ?? ive got 2gb ram and 2.0 ghz processor
Did you install any software recently? Since when you are facing this issue? Are you getting any warning or error message?
I Have 1 coolerpad doesnt do much of a help i think And its happening sine long time during hot days it happens more
This one;s kind of hard as someone has spammed every site that they can find with that model number. What do the airvents look like? Do you feel comfortable enough to open up the case and can air it out? http://forums.techguy.org/hardware/726426-solved-hp-pavilion-dv6000-overheating.html
Havent done such a thing for the laptop before maybe i should get it done from a computer shop . u think that will fi the issue coz people do say that just cleaning up could fix things..
I know when we moved our servers from one datacenter across the street into another building last year, we popped them open and blew everything out. For being in a pretty clean environment, they were still kind of dirty with dust. And a roach or two. I'm the type person who doesn't have a problem with popping open a case. If you do, I'd take it to a shop and let them do it. Will it fix it? I'm torn actually. I don;t see any one mentioning problems with the model so it's not like a design flaw or anything. (Had a dell like that a few years back.) If you turn it on and just let it sit there and do nothing to it, (ie let it idle like a car) does it still shut off?
No it wont shut off if i am not doing anything but suppose if it shuts down and i open it immdeiately at times it shuts down at the time of loading of windows..
Where along the process of loading windows does it shut down? Randomly? When you get the bar along the bottom? Login screen? edit: Have you tried safe mode?
Damn i have the same HP, it is known issue but after im using my coolerpad everything is fine. Even for big games, no problems.
Since it's a "known issue", I'm sure you'll be providing a reference to it on the net shortly so we can see what the discussion is and what folks have tried.
It only shuts down if i have started the laptop immediately after it faced an automatic shutdown. Sometimes at the bar sometimes when the windows wallpaper and icons are loaded. it depends
Honest answer: I'm at a loss without sitting in front of it. Best bet would be to try one of the hardware support forums.
