Hello, I have a few questions. I am new to adwords and I am trying to get my first ad to show on google. The ad is for another company and I am using click bank. The ad is not being shown due to a "low quality score". What does this mean? Do I have to advertise a different product? How is a landing page's quality determined? Another thing, I have twenty keywords for this ad, and my bidding price is 50 cents per click. Is this too low or too high, and if either, how do I determine how I should price it? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
Im a n00b to adwords but I know how goog looks at sites. On your landing page you need: -Terms and Conditions page (find a good generator) -Privacy Policy page (good generator) -Contact Us page (preferably with the address + phone number) -About Us page -Content relevant to your ad (ie similar/same words/subject/category) Best to also have: -A site put together correctly from an SEO standpoint (h1, h2, bullets, organization, relevancy throughout) -W3C Validation (this also helps you make your page 'accessible' which google likes.
You're also an affiliate so I would suggest adwords isn't for you: https://adwords.google.co.uk/support/aw/bin/answer.py?hl=en-uk&answer=66238 If you've been slapped with a 1/10 Quality Score then essentially you're not going to be able to change that unless you stop using affiliate products. Think outside the box a bit, instead of the the same ol clickbank products that EVERYONE is selling, why not contact a drop shipper and start up a proper ecommerce site to sell those products? (It's more hard work at the beginning but find the right product and you'll do well on adwords...)
