About a week ago I posted a thread here and asked how to promote my music selling website.

After long and active searching I found the way how can I find my target audience - music addicts?

Finally I found the way and let me to describe it here, maybe it will be interesting for you as well.

I will search for music addicts on MySpace.

How can I figure out if this or that MySpace user is a music addict?
It's easy! It's enough just to check out their "Music Interest" section. Music addicts usually putting a lot of info there. If there about 30... 40... 50... or even 100 artists in their "Music Interests" section then it's probably the real music addict, right?!

But it's unreal making such searching manually.

So I hired the programmer who wrote an individual script for me. This script scanning the list of MySpace IDs and grabbing an info from "Music Interests" and not only (also age, gender and location). Plus it automatically creating the direct link for sending the message to users.

So in a result script giving me a very eye-friendly file of results.

Check out example of report file at http://gungangren.narod.ru/example.html

So now I'm going to contact the most appropriate people with a lot of music interests and getting in touch with them.

I'm going to create a music addicts community and then promoting my website and offer in a very quality way.

In any questions, suggestions or something else post here or PM me!

How much did you pay for the script? Was it worth it?

    I've paid $500 for it.

Yeap, kinda expensive but it was made individually for me and I was need it in a shortest terms.

Yes, it worth it. I already started creating my own biggest database of music interests of myspace users. I pretty sure it will give a lot of benefits for targeting my business. And sales will grow rapidly.
