On my own point of view, I would say using nofollow and dofollow blogs doesn't matter; on the contrary various kind of links, and not only blogs, should improve the credibility of your high PR links.

But the results in google caffeine (new search of google) is positive. So will build it al back up again soon

Did you actually create all 2800 backlinks yet? I think you mentioned in an earlier post that this involves 20-30 hours work and was wondering why you haven't yet achieved the goal given that being on the first page will generate a lot of traffic for you.

I'm not knocking your efforts or your method, I am quite interested in this model and would like to see someone successfully implement it. Finding do-follow blogs without your "secret sauce" will mean that this whole process may take other people twice or three times as long to implement the method, so it's a case of figuring out whether it is really worth the effort before committing a lot of time to creating the backlinks.

I can see that the particular page is performing well in Caffeine - is this method the only one you used to gain backlinks for that particular keyphrase?

 

Could be a slight misunderstanding, but it is only the profile pages that actually link back to your website, the other backlinks are to give weight to these profile pages, therefore a total of 200 links to the actual site; just wanted to make that clear.

In all honesty I have been so inundated with clients that wanted the same results that I ended up focusing on these. The site is self bought in over $1000+ (affiliate sales, links, etc) that it is more then anticipated for that one site. Now I have a bank of sites that I can show to other potential clients that have actually hit page #1 for their keywords.

As an example, results are not even fully in but this search term foam suppliers was at position #200+ for cutfoam.co.uk and now it sits at #2.

So there are other examples as well that I can show, which I am doing to potential clients. But I have re-strategies again and now am targeting 550+ profiles that will get indexed hard and fast.

I intend to release that in the next few days.

It looks like the hard work is getting all the profiles indexed with the blog comments. The profiles themselves can be created cheaply. If I implement this method myself I'm going to do away with the extra 4 backlinks from blogs directly to the money site as I already have good varied anchor text for it.

But once you've created each profile you could essentially optimise other sites with these profiles by having four or five backlinks on them instead of just two, for example.
