May be a penalty of some kind, may be the sandbox. I have a site that disappeared also, was gone for 2 weeks and then came back stronger than ever. It was back for 10 days and now gone again.

This type of thing seems to happen regularly to people with newer sites (1 year old is still pretty new).

You can keep adding content and building links and be patient. You should also review your site to make sure it abides by all of Gogole's webmaster guidelines. If anything is border line then fix it and file a reconsideration request with Google through Webmaster Tools. Tell them what you think was wrong and how you fixed it.

    You're not alone!

New sites have been known to encounter such issues so you better work on getting more traffic and backlinks to stabilize your rankings.

It could be one of 1000 different things. Without your URL, everyone here is simply taking a wild guess at what your problem is (if there is a problem).

Actually I'm not doing a regular SEO on the site I just link build 2-3 times a month and the last link build that i did was directory submission. Also the site is almost 2 years of age.
