My Keywords are all F*****!

    Hi,

If someone could help me please.

I have a hosting account with Webs and my domain is currently registered with GoDaddy.
I run a music production website. I'm using 3 long tail keywords for my website as my main keywords (in the site title). I also have these keywords in my site tag and site description along with a few more keywords in the other sections.

On my webmaster tools account, I set up my website a few months back but only started using webmaster recently, in the 'Content Keywords' section, I can see some of my keywords on there but most of them are random text taken from my website, for example words such as 'email, purchased, address' - I'm not actually sure if these are the same keywords I'm trying to refer to.

One of my long tail keywords NONE - I repeat NONE of my competitors have this keyword either in their title, domain or URL (I've searched over 20 pages on google and only found one other site and a few youtube videos using this exact keyword) - A search on the keyword also shows it receives about 135k global searches and low competition. So I don't understand how I cannot see my page on the search results (not even after 20 pages - I still cannot find it).

I submitted my website to google, bing etc about a month back but have not heard anything back, am I supposed to or is it an automatic process? I've also been backlinking from reputable sites - I used SeoCentro today to check my rank but the analysis states that my website is not placed on either Google, Bing or Yahoo - rank is N/A and 0 competing pages.

The funny thing too is a few years back when I was 16 my old website had a google rank of 7/10 but I didn't know anything about SEO or what the page rank even meant and let the website domain get backordered and its only about a year ago when I realised this when the company who backordered the domain quoted me $35K to buy the domain back.

This is frustrating me though, what the f@!? am I doing wrong??

Well Google is changes a lot in the last few years, so you need to learn some things in order to rank your keywords. I think your on-page SEO is not that good so you might need to work on it. You also need to work to get some good backlinks agiant your keywords for your site.
