I have an issue I am working hard on my keyword through quality link back with do follow commenting but my keyword position is not increasing and also decreasing alexa ranking.
Obviously we would need much more information to determine why. Some information you would not want to publish on an open forum for many reasons. But here are a few questions? The biggest one, "What is the Keyword." How competitive is it? Do you have competitors? Who are your competitors on the first page? Where are your competitors back links coming from? Try to get as many backlinks on the same High PR sites as your competitors and add more. I will just assume you know how to optimize the keyword on page? There are tons of reasons but these are the main ones. Hope this helps
Try link diversification. Here's where most marketers drop the ball. They try to get a ton of links thinking this will solve their problem. However, if the links are of low quality and primarily come from the same source, then the process of outperforming the competition will take much longer. Mix things up a bit and see if this helps.
I have to agree with dexterfulton. The majority of backlinks most sites have are low quality and aren't much help. You need a few high quality backlinks from high PR pages. These are more difficult to get and that is why so many don't go after them. It takes work.
I won't worry too much about Alexa Ranking, Techabsolute. But, getting high quality backlinks is indeed what you need to increase your ranking in Google. So, make sure that you are getting backlinks from sites that are considered as authority in your industry.
i think @waystar has all the informations you should answer. He really explains it really clear, that there are so many points you must follow to increase your rank in Google, if your website still in #30 - #40 ... i think to get to #11 - #20 is not a big deal here, but when you try to break the top 10 barrier, you must do extra work here. Good luck...
OK, Try to follow the back links for your keyword.Go to Google dot com and Search your keyword in Google and follow the back links of top 10 websites.
When new links aren't working, it might be time to focus on producing and adding some new content. Also, I'd like to reiterate what everyone else is saying: It is usually more beneficial to get a link from a new domain than to get several links from a site that was already linking to you.
Yes, i just realized that too, better to link from a new site, since Google don't weight so high on this. Yup, it takes time. Sometime it can takes a month for google to change the position, or 2 weeks or 3 weeks.
Depending on the keyword it only takes a few days to rank high with Google. Remember keep it simple. Stick with the basics. Use Google keyword tool to determine which keywords have the least amount of competition with the most amount of monthly clicks. This is the key to a good start.
yeah,i have the same problems with you,you know that is really hard to keep on doing, and make the keywords to the top ten
