My introduction- Hello!

Hi. I am very new. I discovered this site through a friend who referred me to a writer she met on here who hired me about a week ago to writer articles for her blogs on medical topics. So far I am doing well with her, but I am searching to expand my sources of income and stimulate my head.

I will admit I am a little overwhelmed by the site. I assume posting here counts as a post for approval to post in the other sites. I really want enter some design competitions and write though, but I guess I have to waite.

I understand I have to follow thread topics, which makes sense. Do answers to threads count as posts??

I like to write- art, politics, theater, social advocacy, volunteering, economics- though more from a social or political angle. I am a huge fan of social media and films that make social change. And to top it all off I am also an actress (yeah me like to go out of my comfort zone and make a full of myself to the amusement of others). I am also a amateur photographer, though sometimes I have been paid for my gift, and I am currently perfecting my web design ability.
