My income from Adsense seems to be following a pattern

I am curious as to whether anyone has experienced this...

My income never seems to go up steadily. I seemed to be stuck on the same income for two or three months then I make a jump upwards and then the same again.

Can't really figure this out as I am pretty consistent with adding new content. There never seems to be a steady increase.

    Has anyone else experienced this?

well, do you see a jump in visitors also in that time? maybe google shows your pages higher in their search engine then, so there are more visitors = more income?

It's pretty normal. A lot of things can happen in a month or two -- someone big links to you, you get higher SERPs, etc. As a site ages, and as you add more content, good things happen, and usually in intervals like this. This is why patience really does pay off on the net.

Your adsense income is directly correlated to the number of visitors your website gets. So even 3 years down the line, if your site does not show an increase in the number of visitors, your income will stay the same.
