My important Gmail Account Deactivated by google

On Monday 9th April 2007 Google band my personal gmail account as well I am not able to open my adsense, analytics, orkut, and also I am not able to access my important docs I maintain in Google docs. Can anyone help me here.

Google doesn't just deactivate accounts for nothing. Thay must have received complaints regarding your gmail account or something.
What do you usually use your gmail account for?

I used Gmail for all my important stuffs.

Time to look for backup email account.

 

You most likely violated the TOS. They don't just deactivate accounts.

Don't you have the copy of your emails? They provide pop3 access for all and if you use, outlook or outlook express, you are safe. But it doesn't seem that you have. Only option is to contact google support (Link provided by Nintendo) and ask for the posts at least, if they don't want to activate your account.

I am not understanding what you are saying? I used to upload images in google picassa and never given any link to other.

Is there any way to get recover of all my docs from google document those all are quite important for me.

 

Yeah google seems to be doing this alot lately.

 

Yes we need to take any necessary steps against Google TOS or we should stop using Google services.

 

Ironically I read the Gmail TOS for the first time after reading this post and it doesn't really seem that out of the ordinary. I imagine most times Google disables an account is for commercial use. I see A LOT of people using gmail for commercial/business purposes.

But my own experiences with Google have been similar with Adsense, I think account banning is more widespread in that program than with Gmail, but Google is becoming increasingly powerful - they made the cover of Business Week regarding the power they wield over the entire Internet. Kind of scary...

 

Thanks for the link Richie. Atleast I know what to do when they banned my account. Kudos to Google Team for making Gmail Spammer free.

 

Have you contacted Google to see what they say?

 

They are not suppose to give any answer I have tried to contact with them many times even I have given my alternate email id there while complaining. My most of friends gmail id also banned.

 

Were you using the Gmail account for any business purposes because the terms only allow you to use it for personal usage only.

There must be a reason as to why they did that to you. Check the Terms again and see if you may have violated any of them.

What are your friends doing with their gmail accounts which is similiar to what you are using yours ?

Because Gmail is a free account, don't put anything important on it.
