Try to contact Hotmail and they may help you out.

My personal advice is: use Gmail :)

    Hello,
What is that 'password reset link'? How is it made?
Could you explain it a little?

Did you have any custom folders made? And do you remember any latest emails you received? If you do, them just email them with that and some other info they ask you in the email and you should be set to go.

The type of connection matters, because on LAN, you are vulnerable to several types of attacks and more opened to hackers .

Try and contact MSN and request them to change your password, hopefully this will be done quick. When you chose a password, always include at least one capital letter, and a few letters, always include numbers as well. This is for your own safety, and do not use same password as you do on forums etc.

    Regards,
    Meti
