Recently, a couple of my sites got suspended from my host, and consequently, my site was taken off the Google indexes. This is very unfortunate, since my site was one of the top listings for many keywords. I'm just wondering if it's possible for my site to be re-indexed by Google again and show up in the first page, where it used to be. Thanks.
I guess if you quickly upload your sitemap using webmaster tool, soon after you get your site back up and running, it should be back to normal , but wont get the previous result immediately though..
Once your site is back, ping it using any of the free ping services. Google should be able to reindex your site, but you have to wait for some time.
don;t worry. i have same problem too and it's indexed again after it's up. pinging is also important ..
The faster you upload your site at a new place, the better are your chances for getting back the rank priority. Regards, RightMan
If it is not a long delay then just restore your site. start your usual promotion activities .It will be again on your top 10.
A friend of mine faced the same problem a few weeks ago. When he changed the host his ranking went back in 1 week.
I've just had the same thing happen with my site. The second I got the email saying that my account was suspended, I got on top of moving everything. Sadly, the day I finally had everything back up and running as usual was the day G decided to knock me down from page 1 to page 6 for a large number of keywords and phrases. My fingers are crossed that things will return to normal! Just be quick and get it back online!
it will take time if your domain expired, and it will be faster if your hosting ended... AND if your domain shifted to PARKING during this time and google revisit to your domain that will be more difficult to bring back your OWN site in SE, and its will take too much time. good luck
Put your site back as soon as possible . I hope you have a maintained backup . Keep the permalink structure as same as the previous host .
its possible yes, but you have to do everything right and dont try to use shortcuts. use 301 redirects and follow the Google guidelines for webmasters
Yes, but the amount of time to get back your positioning will all depend on how long your sites were disabled.
Something very similar happened to me for about a week, but it did'nt have any effect. As I mentioned on another thread ping, ping, ping!
It happens to lots of people, just be quick about it and get back up and you should be fine, if your not indexed then resubmit a sitemap and you should get indexed.
I had a website go down for three days, but did not notice much of a change until a couple of days after i was back online, small traffic loss, but it came right back. I think google gives some leeway on down servers or domain name server change, but be quick as possible and hold on to your search positions
I think that Google isn't indexing it because your site cannot be found. There is a chance that your site can be re indexed by Google once it is up again.
