Hi, I just finished my first website. It's a personal site about me and my work. I would like to hear what you think about it, please visit: http://h-drexler.jimdo.com Thank you for your comments and suggestions!
is it only me(not all the site content/styling loaded), or its the website design .. ? From what I see.. Giving a "splash" page with language selection & to much vertical white space...(the footer is way to long to scrolled), is quite "wasting-time" for me... I think it will be better if you could place navigation on top part of the page.. so visitor didnt have to scroll down/click "the back" button....
First, I want an answer: What is your site about? Both your site design and title and Url are inexplanatory.
thank you, WeddiGo, thank you, forlca! nice to hear that ... @ardianet: I'm sorry that you didn't get along with my website design. I've hidden the predetermined navigation (combined with the host-publicity) in the foot of the page. This area is not necessary if you navigate with the text-fields I designed (-english-architecture-back- ...) @MakeMoneyKid The page is about my work, my name is H. Drexler. I'm architect, but I do also film, design, graphics etc. When you open the page you'll see a visualization of one of my projects in the header. If you are interested you can enter the page by clicking your language! I didn't want to explain too much to avoid categorization.
Oh! So so it's a portfolio site. Having a slideshow gallery would make your portfolio a lot appealing and professional.
@silverman49 @qabati @MakeMoneyKid @sofiabush @xuled : thank you very much! @rajkotinfoline : the structure of my homepage is quite simple: - the first page has only 3 linked options, the 3 languages. You will always land there by clicking the header. - the next level are the 5 categories for each language, but it's always the same content in different languages - the third and last level are the pages for each category in fact I've made 3 similar sites that you can enter by the language selection on the first page. I hope this was your question.
