My home page was just put in the supplemental index

My home page was just put in the supplemental index. I finally made #1 for my site name and was finally starting to get hits for my target keyword. Then about a week ago my home page was removed from the main index and could not be found for those 2 and other searches. I even went through the first 90+ pages of results.

My home page is still being crawled and google is updating the listing for it 1-2 times daily. My other pages are doing pretty good. One of my inner pages is on page 2 for a term I didn't optimize much for.

Can anyone give me a hint or idea as to why this happened and how to fix it? My site is ThisArcade[DOT]com

What do you mean by "supplemental index"?

he page is indexed but is less trusted so only shows up if you search for the domain. If you search "thisarcade" or "this arcade" it won't show in the results. If you search the full domain or site:full domain it will show up only then.

I found that Google indexed my page for a week in which it couldn't be found for any keywords anywhere (supplemental index as you called it) - after about 1 week Google deindexed all of the indexed pages and re-indexed them again one day later, this time ranking for keywords

So give it one week and you should be right

I recently got like 8 PR4 and 2 PR5 back links to my home page and some to my inner pages so that shouldn't be the problem.

I just found out how to search Google only for pages of your site in their main index. I have about 4.5k pages indexed and these are the only ones in the main index http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&...com++-inallurl:www.thisarcade.com&btnG=Search . My home pages is the first one which leads me to believe I was penalized for some reason. I have no idea why. I checked all the sites I link to and none were banned but one had a adult games category that I didn't notice before so I removed his link and asked him to remove mine.

I checked the google quality guidelines and the only things I did wrong was I used free tools to programatically query Google to find info on my site, I didn't disallow my search results pages in my robots.txt, and I have more than 100 links on my home page. I don't think any of that would cause my home page to get penalized so badly though.
