My Home Page PR1 and Inner Pages PR2

    Hello,

    Why my home page PR is less then my inner pages PR ? - This is very unusual that i made a page 1 month back and now its PR2 and my two years old home page is still PR1 lolx ....

    It depends on many factors like number of quality backlinks and traffic etc. It's not unusual at all. The inner page has more backlinks (let's say more VALUE in the eyes of Google) so it has better PR than the home page.

    It would be a mistake from Google. Usually it happens with new sites, but it happened with your 2 years old domain. Now it's not a thing to worry about. I hope in the next update Google will solve your problem and you will get exact PR for your home page and inner pages.

    You are completely wrong :mad:

    Google see the content, backlinks and uniqueness of a page. So inner pages can have higher PR than home page.
    Eg: http://www.homebizpal.com/ PR4

    But this inner page has high PR than home page
    PR5 http://www.homebizpal.com/blogging/wordpress/understanding-wordpress-permalinks/

    had the same problem on a site that was just a download. first page was just filled with adwords and links to the inner page..

    Maybe webmasters prefer linking somme inner pages, like a good article.

    hmmm... i always thought that the inner pages cant have higher PR in the main page...

    Me too I had PR3 on my home page for almost 2 years, but now it is PR2 from last few months and my inner page has PR3
