Getting your news online is also a good idea because you're much more likely to find stories of actual merit instead of the very superficial one sided nonsense that passes as "news" on CNN. And by one sided I'm talking about the corporate bias of the mainstream news. The fairy tale that there's a "liberal bias" in the MSM is absolute hogwash. How often do you see the legalization of marijuana represented reasonably on MSM even though more than half of Americans support it according to recent polling? How often do you see pro single payer health care stories on the MSM even though many Americans support it? The MSM does not have a liberal bias. It has a big business bias, which is the opposite of a liberal bias. The sad truth is now the Democratic party has become the Republican party circa 1980 and the Republican party has become absolutely insane to the point of being completely unacceptable which is forcing people to choose what is a very right wing Democratic party. We have no truly liberal party in this country and that's what's destroying us. We need a truly progressive direction if we are going to move into the future (and that's where it ties into the subject of this post... Only with a truly progressive direction will we do what we have to do to save the environment.)
Zibblu, you don't go far enough. The only way to save this planet is to eliminate the human species. Only then can this planet exist in the way it was meant to.
