Hi, I created this site a couple of months ago for my company, let me know what you think of it: http://www.mattmdesign.com
Hmm very retro, perhaps a vintage 1998 - even got the frames and jumping around pages with missing graphics. Ok, let's spin this around - take a look at linkedup it's got many different sites on there. My favourite Web Design Company site is Cuban Council - it might inspire you!
Yeah it's pretty nice. I'd remove the spam though... The risks for penalisation far outweigh the benefits of that a few <b> tags will provide.
Ok, I got rid of the <b> tags. I do use iframes on the portfolio pages, but what do you mean by "jumping around pages with missing graphics"? Thanks, Matt
Ok here's what I found: Go to the homepage then go to ../about.htm - the text isn't aligned at the top. Make the browser window smaller to fit the design, then go to ../website-design-portfolio.htm - jumping around ../logo-design-portfolio.htm - no logo ../print-design-portfolio.htm - page jumping 2004 and Free stuff don't work/nothing on the page - suggest removing them. Sorry, but your web design isn't "professional" at all. Checked out on Firefox also?
If I understand what you're saying, that's because I aligned it in the middle instead of a certain amount of pixels from that top. I guess you prefer everthing to start on the same line. Ok, I tried that and I don't see what you mean. Unless you're talking about making the window smaller than 800x600. If you're talking about the logo in the upper left, its still there for me and I didn't change anything. I'm going to add a counter to the free stuff page soon. Thanks... I also checked it in firefox.
The main page to about looks fine for me, the text only moves a couple of pixels, however the logo design dosnt have a logo for me either, and the use of frames on the website design section could be a bit better.
Ok, I fixed the logo. For some reason it was still showing up on my computer, just not others. Thanks, Matt
On my machine everything is aligned on right side of screen. I am used to seeing pages aligned left or center but not right. Shannon
Since when have images been bad for SEO? I've never heard that before. That was the idea. something a little different.
