The site which I've been trying to promote, which was founded in 2001, is having ranking problems. It is out of the sandbox because it currently ranks in the top 50 for my top keyword. However, I think that there is some other type of problem because the rank has never been higher than #26 and I have tried everything, even having excess linkage - more than enough(which normally results in some dynamic rank changes). Several of my sites have behaved normally, for example they usually are able to climb the last 25 spots and appear in the top 5 for my target keywords. And that is what i was hoping for with this site. But I am wondering if maybe there is something fundamental from Google's perspective preventing this with my current project. I do know this: There is not a hyperlink on every page of the site pointing back to the home page. And I plan to change this soon. But most importantly, the majority of my backlinks are coming from Russian sites and sites in other foreign languages. My target search engine is the Google English version. So my question is this. Could Russian and foreign language links be causing this ranking problem? Or could site structure problems be the reason? Thanks
I don't know about the foreign language links on your site affecting your rank but you definitely need to fix your navigation. There needs to be a functioning nav. Not sure if this is also affecting your rank. Would be nice to see you site so we can help.
I believe foreign links, if off topic and not related to your site, could have a negative impact on your site ranking. If they are related then I don't really think they would be harmful
Might be your internal structure, have a look and see if it follows a logical structure and ensure that key pages are linked togther. Also try not to put too many links on one page.
There are many issue of regarding google ranking website.but russian and other languages are not create problem for ranking website.
