Hi everyone, I hope someone can help... I have a content management system that I use to add pages to my site... recently the web company I use to build my sites has changed things so that my pages are no longer '.co.uk/page.php?ID=16' ... they now read '.co.uk/upvc-casement-windows-page-16.html' As these have been changed google it showing 'Duplicate title tags' and 'duplicate meta descriptions' in webmaster tools: eg: /page.php?ID=57 /windows-goole--double-glazing-goole-page-57.html /windows-goole-page-57.html The first one here is the original page name, the second when it was changed and I have subsequently changed it again. Google search is bringing the second two up in searches at different positions; far lower than they were originally. My question is, if I leave the page names as they are now will this resolve itself or do I need to do something? Also I assume google is penalising me as it will see it as duplicate content? Any input welcome, please help as I am having a nervous break-down!! :S Kind regards, David. Doncaster - UK
