My google rank change

Hey Yesterday i had noticed that my site had a pagerank of 4 and i was happy with that but when i went to my site this morning the page rank went down to 1. Why did this happen? could it be because of a link i added to the directory?

try it without the www and it's a 4... with www it's a 1. Google see's these as 2 different pages.

often times off the start Google views the www. and non www. version as two separate sites. try to get all your links into the www. version since most directories usually list the www. version.

you also can redirect the non www version to point to the www version if you are compelled to.

you should always do redirect from no-www to www
