My google places listing disappeared! Please help.

For the past 3 years I have stayed on the top of google places/maps. All of the sudden 2weeks ago my listing disappeared. Now I can only find it by typing in my old phone number. Have I been attacked? Did I do something wrong? Has anyone else had this happen to them? I have no idea what happened or how to fix it. I am losing a lot of money and need help fast. Any response would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for the quick response. I logged in and found that there are two listings. They appear to be duplicates and both need to be confirmed. I have a third party running the campaign and we are waiting for the new confirmation pin. However it has been 2 weeks and no pin number from google.

they will usually send a post card to the address. or call the phone number listed. look at both and see how they confirm. if one is a phone call, confirm that one and delete the other. If not request a reconfirmation for one of the post card ones. When they send the post card it takes 2-3 weeks.

Okay so I logged in again this morning and went through all the details of the duplicate listings. They are not identical. The main difference is the phone numbers. One of the listings has our old phone number listed. I have been doing some research and found that google looks very highly on the phone number attached to the business. Should I proceed to delete the listing with the old number?

yes because you can't verify that number anyway. Delete it and verify the other and you should be all good.

Post review from different IP. More good review will help to appear your listing.

Do you mean to post a review for myself? I don't think you are supposed to do that. Also I have over 30 authentic reviews already so that is not the problem. Thank you for the advice though.
