Bots come crawl the site in their own routine. I wouldn't worry about it.

This is 1,000 visits to one page or 1,000 visits to the site?

Well, this is NOT normal unless you have a big site with regular update.
You can decrease this by setting up a custom crawl rate from GWT.

For the last year one of my sites used to generate around 100 unique visits per day from Google.
Last week it started receiving ~ 250 per day and yesterday - over 300 with more than 1000 page views
This morning my stats nearly killed me: TEN clicks from Google.
Of course I can not find it anywhere for NONE of my keywords - for many of them constantly on the 1st page for more than an year :eek::eek:
I'll be very happy if someone could explain that!

Yahoo has a way to limit its crawling spiders by adding a line in the robots.txt so maybe Google as well

Perform a search for "limit googlebot visits" or "limit googlebot crawling"

I just wanted to know (if any body could suggest) why after boosting my traffic to unbelievable high, Google all of a sudden removed my site form the SERP! How it is possible one day to receive twice the normal traffic and the next day to disappear from the serp completely???

The google bot (and other search engine bots) will visit your website frequently. The inbound links you have the more the bot will come around. One thing to watch is the bandwidth the bot uses on your site. If you have a large site with many pages then the bot will try crawling all these pages (as long as your internal link structure is good) and it will take a lot of bandwidth to do this. This happend to one of our sites. The google bot was taking 14,000 MB of bandwidth per day. We have a VERY large site so this was expected.
