My Google Adsense Earning is low HELP!

Hi everyone, I have been running a site for 6 years and recently someone suggested I put adsense on it to make a little money. I was quite excited by this thought so I have been trialing it for a while. My site promotes Percussion Music through my own research and with permission of copyright holders displays videos.

I have over 6000 pieces and here is a listing page:
    http://www.percussionmusiconline.com/tuned-percussion.chtml
    http://www.percussionmusiconline.com/6664.shtml

The banners on the left are private but the one halfway down page is Adsense and also at top of search page (1st Link). My CTR exceptionally low from what I have seen but CPC is great!

    Can anyone advise?
    Thanks,
    TP

It is all about the placement and number of ads to use. Go to Google Adsense University.

You ad placement is good but i do not see the ads all around the site if you want to earn more ad the banner throughout the site add it in the right sidebar and also left side bar let the visitors see the ads to click.

Use both text and image ads. It appears you're only displaying text ads. Also, try adding another skyscrapper on your right column.

Yes the site is not too big yet - just 700 pageviews a day.
    Thanks,
    Tim

In my opinion. I think it comes from the placement of the adsense ads on it.

Try to use tooltip! Your pages look too long the reader can't find your ad when glance over the bottom.

Your ads are not pretty visible. They need to be on the top fold of the page to have a good impact. Did you try putting in a link unit between the title of the article and the actual content? Also, on some pages I noticed that your left nav is quite blank. Probably a banner just below the 'Select category' module should bring in better CTR.

Besides, Adsense is not the only ad network. Check out other ways to monetize your site.

If you place your ads in the right place and the ad is of the right type then even on a low traffic site , you can expect a moderate revenue . Peace :D

YOur probably just need more traffic, that's most people's problem with Adsense :)
