Email them and let them know that it was accidental click.

It should be ok, it's just one click, but it's a good thing you emailed them just to make complete sure.

I click my own adsense ads all the time. If it's something I'm interested in, I'll click it. I wouldn't worry about it. As long as you're not being fraudulent, it's fine!

really? you do it and have no problem to get pay check?

every time i meet interested ads, i move the mouse over the ads, and get the url at the status-bar, then type it direct into ie.

Better read Adsense docs carefully. You can be surprised very much in not much pleasant way.

Yep. No stop in payment. I design sites that are about topics I like. If one of my sites serves an ad for a product I am interested in, why shouldn't I click it? My visitors will.

The problem is when you try to defraud the system. The system was meant to earn the advertisers more in sales. I will only click ads that I am honestly interested in. I'm sure my IP is logged and Google knows all about it. Really though, we're talking about one click of thousands from my site(s) each month. I'm sure it would be way different if I were clicking on hundreds of ads.

I guess saying that I click the ads all the time may be a little of an exaggeration and misleading. I will click Google ads on my site just like I would any other.

You have emailed them and now you need not to worry at all, AdSense team really treats honest people very well, this happened to me once as well and i mailed them and got an instant reply:)

And you better Rejoice as Hopper said, when you couldn't differentiate between the ads how will the visitors do, they for surely will click and give you some big bucks.

Thanks for warning. If my account get's closed, I'll email you so you can say that you told me so.

I'm not trying to be ugly about it, but I really don't see the issue. If I am genuinely interested in something, I'll click the ad. I've actually made purchases at these sites. I imagine that kind of activity actually defeats the purpose of the program.
