What methods and "tactics" do you plan to use to achieve this goal? $3,000 per month is quite a lot of money, more than most people make with their full time jobs.

It's nice, but if I were you I would put a whole site around it, instead of only a blog. That will take more time, but it will also make you a lot more money.

You could do the same you are doing now, blogging, but at the same time you can also write larger articles about your experiences with different ad-networks etcetera. The bigger and better the articles, the more people will read them. These articles could go into your site, with an index pointing to the various articles.
In a blog, I have found that you usually can't write those large articles, because there are also posts below them.
Plus, blogging in itself has a lower CPC then a site.

Hey thanks for the idea! I might decide to place a site or an article system in the future.

Welcome to the real world. I hate to break the bad news to you, but soon you'll wake up to a rude awakening. It's not as easy as you think! Some people have been doing this for around 10 years and don't make $3,000 a month from this! And we're talking adults, not kids still in school still learning reading, writing (Your own state is Hawaii, not Hawai.), and arithmetic!

You do have a plan, right?! You do know how to pay self-employment taxes, aka Social Security and Medicare, right?! Then there is the quarterly estimates you pay!!! Oh, the yearly 1040 tax deadline is due April 15th...Next year. Like I said, welcome to reality, how may we help you! For now, work on making the money back that you spend for the domain and web hosting! er, how much did you spend for that! You do know you can mark that down as a business expense on your taxes..if you do do a internet business...right?! You do know how to keep records of what you spend...right!!!! It's good just in case you get audited by the IRS.

    My favorite part

SupermanDon't you hate it when your servants are slow to fetch you a beer? Almost makes you want to get up and walk to the fridge yourself. Follow my system and you too can buy Superman to fetch your beer lickety split. Cold, too.

My best advice I can give you.

If you really want to make this goal and make this happen then work your ass off. Work full time. Stay up late making content, building links, ect. Dont expect something to come easy. It wont. Put in 5 solid hours a day doing this and in a few months I dont see why you shouldnt reach your goal.

You get out what you put it.

5 SOLID hours. For me 5 hours a day working and 5 solid hours working are completely different things. :)

Its a lot easier to think then actually do it in reality, 3000$ is a huge target to set as your initial goal. Catch the smaller one before going for the big fish.

    Good luck with it
