Yes, but it's alot harder to get salmonella from vegetables. I know that they make the sandwich before your very eyes, making it very hard to drop a hair in there, to say the least.
Okay...7 years ago when I was pregnant with my daughter, my aunt had went to the Burger King down the street from our house (in Portland Oregon) and got us dinner...I am not a big red meat fan but she had gotten me the wrong meal...a whopper instead of chicken. But I am hungry and 6 months pregnant so I start eating it and bite into a pickle (I hate warm pickles) so I take off the bun to take off the pickles and there is a huge nasty hairball stuck in the cheese! It was sooooooooooo gross...haven't eaten Burger King since...I know they aren't all the same...but how can you not remember? Yuck! - Nikki

I am new here, and other than my family and friends (anyone who has since tried to get me to eat at BK) are the only ones I have ever told this to. But the fact that you have heard a similar story does not surprise me...we are talking about Burger King here lol Nikki

When I was 9 or 10 years old, I once bit into a Big Mac that had maggots in it. I didn't realize there were maggots in it until my mom's friend asked for half the Big Mac. After I cut the Big Mac in half, I instinctively opened up the burger and found a bunch of maggots squirming around. By that time, my mom's friend had already finished eating her portion of the Big Mac. I'm glad she asked me for half! I've heard many sick stories of fast food. McDonald's, Burger King, Wienerschnitzel...they've all got stories. You pretty much get what you pay for. I mean think about it, fast food employees make minimum wage...they're really not concerned about other people.
it is probably just as bad or worse in the regular restaurants. i remember a while back someone took pictures of rats running around in a manhattan fast food place at night

That's new to me. Does burger king actually sell cheeseburgers, I think they have whopper juniors with cheese and i love em and I haven't had any problems with burger king.
