try validating www.google.com, and you will see how important validation is

I was just reading back thru this thread, and Immorta Based on this I don't think we are talking about the same thing, you know that being sandboxed has nothing to do with being indexed, don't you?

 

Its a holding page till the main site is done does it really matter?


Sorry that sounded a little mean, I know the difference as well ferret, like I said I have had no experience with it so I cant say anything for sure, I have opinions on what it might be but I have no first hand experience. I am trying to find someone with a sandboxed site now so I can see what all the fuss is about but so far nobody has given me one to look at...

Of course your not going to provide the links for the site, how could you? Therefore its a flawed experiement i knew that but wanted to see your reply.

You might of been better of saying "ive done over 100 websites and none of them have ever been in the sandbox, however none of them were targeting competitive keywords"

 

sandbox exists
my site (amritaworld.com) was on page 2 when it was launched (1 Jan 2006), after 2 weeks it went to page 20+ and since last 3 week its back again at page 2-3.
Right now, its at no. 5 on google, atleast thts what i see here, sometimes 5 sometimes 15, probably thts what is called google dance!

 

You are not getting the point, sandbox is for keywords and not websites, there are number reasons for which your rankings can fall on SERP, not just sandbox.
