    He should find a hotter, more fun girlfriend. Then he can secretly delight in it when his old girlfriend gets dumped by her new boyfriend and he's got a hotter gf.

    things like this usually happen...3 months isn't a long period of time for a relationship, so I think your friend should get over it very soon; his life isn't at the end because of this situation...girls are everywhere; he should be opened and confident and he will be successful finding a new girlfriend :)
