I have a new support forum for my website FindMyWebSite.org at http://www.findmywebhost.org/forums/ but it looks bad for my website because I can't seem to get people to join them and do some posting, so I was wondering if anyone could help me out by joining them and posting so it looks better for my website.
Have a look at this thread for starting a new forum http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=9821
Hm... I don't know how to request a forum raid, and I don't want a bunch of porn links and spam so I don't know if I should do that. And my friends realy have no interest in my kind of website so it's hard trying to get them to just go ahead and join because like normally they don't care, they forget. Though thanks for your help, I'll look around on there.
Reg yourself as five different names and start talking to yourself Remember always leave the posts open i.e what do you think ect If your not posting on your own forum , then why will others Get some articles done also visit http://news.google.co.uk/nwshp?hl=en&ned=uk an subscribe to news sections that are related to your field and then post then and chat about it Google AdWords is another way of getting traffic Does your site get traffic if so make the forum more prom... i.e banner instead of a text link ect Just some thoughts over the first beer of the night
Why not intergrate some rss feeds as a members. Running a cron job you can set to automatically check for new content. I have used this one succesfully - http://www.phpbb.com/phpBB/catdb.php?mode=download&id=816665
Hm, I've never tried that. That would be pretty good, thanks. I'll check it out. Never done it before but there's a first for everything.
Or you can pay me $1,500.00 a month and I will quit my day job and post 8 hours a day on your forum under any user name or combination of user names of your choice.
I found Post Swap to be a total waste of time and they aren't exactly the friendliest You can also ask for post exchanges from places like www.theforumzone.com. I do find that with all these services, people lose interest quick so don't post a lot on others forums until you get a few on your own.
Thanks, I guess that'd be pretty bad to give someone 500 posts and get 50 or something else like that.
