You get four links in your sig, add that one... [More] Unique content will help as well, as spider food is the good for healthy bones. Look at your site, and look at the sites just like yours. What makes yours different? What makes it special? What makes your members come back for more? If you answer is no or nothing to these questions, then find a better answer.
In the main page it has this in part of the announcement: None of those links are live, it wont make much difference but every little helps. I would get a lighter design and a proper header/logo.
Unless i turn up the brightness on my monitor i can not read the link you gave. Make it easier to read and you may have more users.
Think about getting a new logo though. The current one is sort of....plain. Also, the font colour is too dark on black background. Making your site/forums look goods helps a lot.
Some things you could do that may help: Advertise for a while to get some customers Have a referral contest with real prizes. Have a Hints and Tips section that only registered users with, let's say, 25 posts, can see. This type of thing may encourage people to take part to see what they're missing. Take part in gaming, webmaster and forums, include your sig (like you're already doing) Make sure you allow dofollow Do Adsense Revenue Sharing (see sig). See this thread for other ideas. I just posted about a similar question.
The black site skin, does not really go well with my eyes, I am sure there is a much more vibrant skin you could choose ! Also send a PM/Email to your old members telling them to come back and check out the changes to your board. Changes you could do is really include more content and really pack the forums with useful games/information etc. People join a Community if they see something in it and really at the moment I am not seeing too much in your community to attract new members. I would work on that and then you should be having an active smooth forum. Best of Luck mate in the future with your Forum !
As above, I don't think the dark colours are working very well - I'd perhaps try and brighten it up a little, or look for an alternative skin. Additionally, a more attractive banner/logo will help break up the page, and make it look a little more interesting. I'm not sure you need quite as many categories for a new forum. It might be better to try and generalise these - you can always expand in the future if required. If you don't want to do that, then make sure all the categories have plenty of content otherwise your forum looks unactive. Have you considered posting some articles/reviews for arcade scripts?
Are you kidding me? First off your forum has 10 registered members. Secondly, how many people do you think are searching for a arcade webmaster forum? Not many. For my forum all I do is rank in the top ten for [forum topic] forum in the google serp and that gets me a lot of registered users. Then from all the content they create me I get traffic from that content being indexed by google. From the looks of it you are ranking at number 11 for the term,"arcade webmaster forum" So I wouldn't really do much else. Forums need time to grow. I would focus my effort on trying to move that serp ranking up to at least the top 10 and preferably the number one spot.
Hire forum posters or use a post generation software or bot. Those help make the forum 'seem' active, and people will naturally join active communities.
Sorry to re-iterate what has already been said, but unless you have a vested interest in the larger spectacle manufacturers then I would alter the colour scheme. Light on dark is a poor choice for a site that aims to survive by relying on people reading and replying to text.
The best choice would be neutral background with darker text, then having the option for a blinding white back ground with black fonts, and a black background with bright lettering. Choice makes everyone happy.
