I have used this forum before for help with my adsense account and found the users here to be very helpful. I hope you guys can help me once more.

I know its against Google's ToS to have their ads on non content pages like registration and login. But I know of some sites that have hundreds of thousands of users and have been using adsense for years with no problems and their ads also display on non content pages. How do they get away with it? I can give examples but I don't want to get anyone in trouble.

I don't want to be one of those sites that are getting away with it for now just to be caught later. I have an IPB forum and my ads are currently in the header and footer wrapper. But this also puts them on the non content pages like login and registration. How do I place my ads so they won't appear on those pages. I don't want to put them in the middle of posts, because I don't like the look of it and I don't want it to be too annoying to my regular users.

I have tried the <if> tag but apparently it doesn't work in the header and footer wrapper. But it could be that I'm just a noob with less than zero experience.
