So my forum over at NoHeat has been a little bit of a afterthought as a focused on getting the social part of my Tech Blog working. So low and behold I checked out the forum today to make sure there was no spam there and realized that it was a PR3. What the? How did a forum that I put almost no effort into get a PR3? I realize my main site is PR5 but there are tons of other pages that should have gotten more PR than this part of my site. To all the forum builders out there how do you guys jump start a community. Traffic has never been an issue but getting lurkers to participate is really hard for me any tips?
It makes sense but it would seem like site getting the PR would need to have some new and unique and new content... or not.
by linking on the home page,it will give that page/folder one pr less then your main page without any other links to it. it's not a pr3,but a 4 and thats because your site is a pr5. content has nothing to do with pr.if you had a link to a blank page on your home page,it will also get a pr4.
