Yes, Coder has started working on my forum to convert it to VB :)

I am sooooooo excited, Can't wait to see the forum using VB :)

I was working on the custom theme of my forum for the past 3 days and I got it ready today.

I am sure after the upgrading the forum will grow much faster and will beat DP within a week :D:D

    Yes, definitely.

I have strongly told the coder to import EVERYTHING from phpbb to VB which includes Posts, PMs, Avatars, Sig links...everything.

Well I can't say about the URLs because it was a SEO MOD installed later on phpbb. I think VB will also have some SEO mod like that. I will ask the coder to do it as well, or may be if she suggest something better I will go with it :)

PhpBB is also very good (if you install MODs). If you look at the current theme of my forum it has been customized very much.

But phpbb can never beat VB. It is a great software no doubt.

vBulletin does not have any SEO mod of its own, however vBSeo is very popular and effective, costs the same as vBulletin license ;-)

You mean that VBSeo mod also costs $180?

I think I should go without search engine friendly URLs - I don't have that much money :p

Yes, I will get more posts (including spam) more quickly :D

But I will moderate my forum very actively and will not let the spammers to sit in there.

Don't worry, keep working hard and try to understand what your users want in your forum. This is called analyzing the target audience :)

Instead of just asking questions try to spend some time on Google search or browse this forum.

No do not spend $180 on vBSEO - waste of money in my opinion.

Zoints SEO mod works similar and is free, just add on a few other mods that are free from vbulletin.org and volia! Similar results :D

Besides, DChapman knows how to make things.

You should have gone with IPB.

Much better than VB in term of speed and quality code.

IPB 3 is coming up soon, it will be hundred time better than VB.

Edit: SEO will be included in IPB 3 and you don't need to pay extra.
