    So,

we're not in google at all. the googel bot isn't indexing us so thats already a loss of traffic.

We have 1,600 links to our forum.

we have about 7 daily posts.

    we want to inprove this.

    How can I do this?

    Do quality posts..
Social bookmarks will help you lot in bringing traffic..
With more traffic google bot will crawl regularly (Read this somewhere around this forum)...

You can use a paid forum posting company to provide posters and fresh content if your too busy or can't htink of anything yourself. You can then submit active, interesting threads to stumbleupon. Posting in related forums with a sig link can also bring in regular forum posters. (I recomend kickstartyourforums)

If the main problem is google not indexing, submit hte link to a few high ranked forum directories. Your submisison to them should still get indexed.

Have you submitted your site to Google? Also, please check with a Google Banned Site Tools to make sure than your site is not being banned from Google index.

First understand why your forum is not indexed. Then come back and ask for advice.

So you've lost Google ranking because your domain is a re-reg'd one that was Google banned?
I'd then concentrate on getting Yahoo or Live indexed, or move all your posts onto a fresh domain :)
And for getting more posts, you can feed them in from Yahoo answers, buy posts, or if you want, just create lots of usernames and do them yourself, this gives the impression of being much more active
