my forum design work in progress what you think so far?

I am creating a new vbulletin style what do you think so far? I have added a few hacks of my own and new layout's so some parts. I have to create new buttons and some smaller icons.

Honestly, i'm not real crazy about it. I think your header is quite a bit too big. You have to scroll down just to get to the actual forums. Also, I think a smaller image would be better instead of the large 1 inch x 1 inch key image.

Also traditionally black on white is hard on the eyes over time. You might consider going with a dark grey and light grey on the text. It will be a little less hurtful.
