My first Wordpress site: is it ok?

Today i' ve made my first Wordpress website (by my self) i was wondering if you like it and if you have advise for me?

i think you need a background color, but i realy liked your theme its seems so basic, if you want you can send it to me :]

 

You can have some images to make your theme better but now It's very simple and good looking for visitor's.

A nicer logo would look good

 

Theme is simple. Please choose another theme, and design a logo for your website. Another thing you can do is you should make about us, contact us pages, it will impress visitors and it will make websites look genuine for visitors.

 

Its pretty simple but professional layout and I think you should select better color scheme.

 

I would say its pretty basic site just install nice theme and select better plugins for your site

it looks pretty basic but maybe thats what you are going for? I would read up on SEO basics (Tons of great info right here on DP - Use the search feature) and then optimize your site for the keywords/search phrases you would like to get traffic for.

That BIG site description is a bit annoying to be honest. I would move it and shorten it. Probably move it just below the "logo"... Text site title I should probably call it.Make sure you fill the site with keyword rich content and traffic will come!

OK I'm going to tear you up a bit here. First the header should probably be "Meow Mix Coupon". The .com is irrelavent. The same for "Welcome to" line. The .com isn't necessary for SEO nor is it pleasant for the user. In the Menu then I would also get rid of the Meow Mix and just use Coupon Code etc. You are basically spamming your keyword so much it is likely to hurt more than it will help.

Learn what LSI keywords are. They will help you more than spamming your keyword.

Next I would get the adsense out of the body of your article and put it on the sidebar instead. Some would argue this I know.

But my main gripe is that your site has no value to the user. This site is one that is designed to piss off the user. They came looking for coupons and you don't have any. You really have nothing for them. So this site is nothing but a scam. If someone came here once, they would never come back.

I think you can do better than that. There may be some CPA coupons that you could provide or something then this site could be worth doing.

Bottom line is I would never build a site unless I could give the user real value for coming there. What is the point? What could you really make from a site like this? Maybe $4-$5 a month from adsense? Is that worth the trouble? I don't think so.

So you've learned how to put a site together - that is good. Now try to figure out how you can give someone some value. When you can give value, that is when you can make some real money.

Sorry if this comes across as harsh. I am not trying to discourage you. I am only trying to point you in the right direction.

 

To go a step deeper with what I wrote above, what we need to be thinking is "what does the person who arives at my site want?"

If you give it to them you will make money. If you don't, you won't.

Adsense won't make you much unless there is tons of traffic for your keyword and you are ranked 1-3.
