Although im pretty handy with Wordpress Designs, this is my first wordpress design here at DP. its a Custom made theme theme for Football, and can be easily turned into a sports magazine theme. Any review will be appreciated. then ill put this one on auction for sale.
its not bad, i think you should stay away from common ps styles like outfer glow, and maybe stick with solid colours when it comes to using gradients on all boxes, the menu is abit in your face aswell so try incorporate a way to make it less promonent on the page. I like the layout and the bg is cool. Dont put the drop shadows on the menu buttons either, or if you do change the distance and size to 1px and increase the opacity. Hope this helps, keep it up.
It's not a bad start, but some of the links are way too big, your also using quite a few different fonts which look like a bit of a mismatch
Font point is a bit large on your nav bits and I would add some padding to your htags that control the post titles so they don't collide when the wrap to another line. That said however, I think it looks pretty good. Nicely done. Nigel
