I am in dire need of some feedback. I just launched my first website and I would love to hear what you think. Good, bad or just a suggestion?

From layout in PS to final line fo code took 3 weeks.

    Thanks,

Over aa 44 kbs connection takes an exhorbant time to load. I would drop the flash in a heartbeat.

Aesthetically quite attractive. Flash part still has not loaded.

Cool website (should be posted in website reviews, though). A couple of things. It really, realy, isn't XHTML-compliant, as DOCTYPE claims. Your "C" in "Crash" is too much different from the rest and at the first glance it looks like "rash safety" :) You might want to blend it in a bit better.

I like the look. I have never been able to use PS properly to create a site, you should do a tutorial from that creation. As far as advice goes....

-Have the flash intro fit the entire white background. To me, it looks incomplete.
-You have a little javascript in the source code that you could place in an external js file (similar to your preview.js)
-Maybe make better use of your H tags (keywords etc...)
-Not a lot of content on the home page. To some, content is king....

Overall, extremely well done for a first site. It looks like you have done your research. Nice choice of colours...

PS: You can also embed that flash to get it to validate...

I really like the design. I'm impressed how this could come of your first website.

The only thing I would change is the fading colour in the background to one solid colour. But that is more of my personal preference to keep things simple.

The dropdown menu has problems in Safari. Also, break the flash movie down and use load_movie, that way it will load as its playing and not be as long a wait at the beginning. Nice flash work !

That is a very sharp sharp site overall. I agree with many of the issues that have already been raised, so I won't beat a dead horse. Did you do the flash yourself? The intro is really cool. It takes a long time to load, but it's cool.

    [edit]
I was just looking up your profile to find out more about you and your web development background. I'm just curious, if this is your first website, and you're a senior web developer, who built the beasleyallen.com website that's in your profile? The reason I'm asking, is not to be a hard a** or anything, I'm just getting ready to be in the market for someone to develop some cool flash animations for my site and would like to know more about what you can and like to do. Thanks.

The designer .... was good... i love the ones that use DIVs and CSS to do it...
It wouldn't load the flash though... even i'm on a cable connection (256kbsp)

    WOW!
How can this be your first website?
I mean, the design is impressive!

Very very nice, but how do you rank? SEO is also important and prob more to get visitors...

What keywords and people are you targeting exactly?

Not bad for a template and a pre-made Flash file...
