    Ok :)
That is very good to hear that it's your hobby.
I also like "financial world" and still learn about stocks, marketing, real estate ...

Ok I have found a couple of beauties. I'll try them out for myself in the coming days. Then I will probably ask opinions here :)

I must say I liked the logo posted here by Lhlalyam, than the one you have at your site. But, you might want to add some gradient in the background as you did in yours right now.

    :)

I think better remove the square ads at the bottom or change it to another size..

I never noticed that icon, somehow I dont see it myself when i browse my site.

But I did a little research on it and found out about such 'favicons'. I think i have replaced it now. I'm not sure, I cannot see it myself :p . Dunno which my browser settings I need to adjust. The icon is prolly very crappy, but atm I have little time to work on my site.

But thanks for letting me know about it !

About the logo, my mate and I used Photoshop for this first design. Now, very coincidentally, his employer sent him and his gfx colleagues to some course involving Adobe Illustrator. I have never heard about that program, but according to him it can be very handy for creating logo's and such. So he got some new spirit and when we both have spare time we will start working on a concept :D

    I'll show him Lhlalyam's concept first ;)

The logo isn't awful but it does have an ancient look to it like it belongs back in the day. The lavender (assuming that's lavender) stands out too much.

When I have some time to actually work on my website ( apart from updating content ) I will try out some new templates. I guess other templates use headers that are not that big right?

Thanks for the comments guys ! Critisism is appreciated :)
