My first web design

just want share, this my first web design with photoshop.

The majority of the planet reads from left to right . You should keep that in mind .

Its Ok to start with, way to go. You have to check other design templates and have to learn quickly to improve your skills in designing.

 

i like it,... but more improve,.. like colours maybe..

Congratulations on your first design. My first impressions:

The two fonts you are using are too similar.
I prefer the radius of rounded corners to be the same for all elements

Not bad for your first, in fact it's way better than my first haha.

However, a couple of things you need to look into: 1) Canvas size (your design is way too small), a good width to design for is 984px, so everything displays nicely on a 1024px screen. 2) Symmetry, work on creating elements the same size, and having them horizontally and vertically aligned for a nice flow.

 

Not bad! I like it, good on you.

 

My impression - seemed to be design for a very specific website, like a gamer clan homepage. Basically a homepage for a small group of users not a mainstream one.

I like it. It's clean and minimal. I'm not overly keen on cluttered designs. I do agree with a comment above though, it's not the sort of design I could imagine on a main stream website.

 

If thats your first design. Keep it up. I would do some simple button tutorials to help get some clean effects. Keep it up!

Very nice first design, good job. My first design sucked big time. lol.

I also started with dark background and light font. You might find yourself moving towards light background and dark font color for content area too. It's just easier on reader's eyes.
