Hey guys.Maybe you remember me maybe not but before few days I posted some treads here . So after few days of trying I got addicted to the game I was promoting Lol (it's not actually a game its program for WOW) . So I didn't made anything to promote my stuff before 2 days, so i woke up before 20 minutes and decided to start to promote my stuff again.And checked my clickbank account not because i really expected something but just because it save in my open windows in firefox. At first I didn't noticed anything but then I was like WTF. I was blown away. I know that most of you will say that first sale is sweetest but it was even more sweeter for me cus I started trying to earn some money online before 2 years and thats my 1st sale since then. Of course 2 years are long time and I don't want to think of me as a dump men who can't do nothing. Its just that I am only 16 years old right now and am currently studying really hard. And in this 2 years I learned really a lot. If someone asks what method I used. Here it is. I set up few blogs (4) at blogspot. And one lens at squidoo but the sale can't be from there cus I haven't posted any affiliate links there yet. And made few forum posts (but afterwards my signature got deleted there so.). So most likely my sale was trough one of my blogs. The problem is I didn't put a tracking ID on them and now I don't know from witch one. One more question. Can somebody tell me what "receipt" means in the Reporting -> Transactions section in my clickbank account. Merry Christmas ALL!!!
Congratulations on your first sale! That surely is a great Christmas present. The receipt is for the publisher who can use it to identify customers in case they need a refund or something. Merry Christmas, nadavs

I remember my first sale those were good times .... Now all the joy is gone :s I only want to make more and more.

harkoramerican i think you should focus on some products which don't have a lot of competition. and learn a little bit seo.Go to the SEO forums and read,read,read -when u don't understand something ask...and then you can make it . For getting indexed in google you have to have backlinks to your site from already indexed sites. for example you can put your link on your signature here-it will help getting indexed faster. When you are putting links to your site try using anchor text- for example your site is forexautoprofitbot (dot) com if you want to make anchor text to your site it will be something like this < a href="forexautoprofitbot (dot) com" > your keyword </ a> and replace your keyword with the keyword you wish to get ranked on google.

Hey! Congratulation for your first sale. I am also a newbie in this market (Started working on 27th Dec 2008) and started promoting the affiliate links using blog posts. You know what, I was very optimistic that I would end up in my first sale in my first month itself, but after reading your post, I must say I am but nervous and scared too, that it took 2 years for you.
Congratulations! It was not long ago when I got my first sale. Now I get 4-6 a day. Keep working at it man!
sunworld, i am presuming that he wasn't working hard out on it for 2 years ... if you work diligently and follow the advice given here then you should be able to make a sale reasonably quickly
