My first sale ever, 47.94$. Site live only for 5 days.

Hi! =)

This is my first poste here. And i just want to share with you how happy I'm with my new site.
It has been live for 5days now and had my first sale yesterday, 47.94$

The domain n1golf.org was created about 1 month ago. Since then I have been exp with different ways to do it. And i ended up using joomla with virtuemart. It takes some time setting up, but you forget all about it when you check your cj.com account =) ..

So this I how I made it happen.

1. Got the n1golf.org domain
2. Instaled joomla and virtuemart(never used any of them before)
3. Signed up with CJ
4. Started to add products usning only the "catalog" function within virtuemart.
5. Added som stuff, links, reviews, sitemap, privacy policy etc...
6. Added a PPC campaign. Budget 50$

I know 47.94$ is not alot. But it's my first money ever earnd with affiliate marketing. And i cant wait to get more sites up.

Also going to do som changes to the frontpage.. It's to messy and needs some changes.

Yes, let's hope it will not be only one more, but many. But...as far as I can see $50 ad spend already disapeared which means virtually 0 traffic to your site now, right ? or you promote it besides PPC ?

 

i'm building links, doing SEO and submitting to search engiens. The PPC campaign is realy just test, to se if the site "works". I have a long term goal, and a sale this fast came as a suprise. I get about 70% traffic from PPC. But one more sale this week and i'm more than happy.

Any Advice you can give us on what Market's To Hit with newly built websites? Also any advice on your link Building and SEO Tactics? Nice Site

 

I'm fairly new to the Affiliate marketing myself. So realy cant help you with what markets to target. As for SEO i use to plugins with joomla. One that makes my url's search engien friendly and one thats let mye apply meta descriptons and keywords to every site. But learning new things every day, as i said im kinda new to this. When i comes to linke bulding i do 2 things, use a service called linkmarket.net and contact website owner by email. Be sure to keep your links related to what your selling. .. =)

Made som changes to the front page today.. Made a "simple" logo, fixed the latest products bug thing and moved stuff around. What you think ?

 

Hey mr Alexx1, nice site, I'm building a lot of Joomla EPN affiliate sites (you can check my sig for those). Use SH404 SEF component - it rocks once its set up, and use Bookmarking Demon to promote. I've been using it for about 3 weeks now and traffic building nicely - damn i should get an affiliate link set up for BMD - trust me its gr8. Another fine product is SENuke - those 2 make powerful combination.

This has to be on top of your list. I agree, your site rocks but without AdWords, I doubt you'd make your first or any sale at all. What do you think?

 

Good Landing Page. You can get some free credits when you signed up with Yahoo Marketing and MSN Adcenter plus other small players. At least this will keep the ball rolling. Good luck and best wishes!

Nice site, but you might want to change "Choose a manufactor" on the upper left, to "Choose a Manufacturer."
