Hey everyone I just got my first sale (um, sorta...) So I started promoting Earth4Energy from Clickbank, and I joined a "Go Green" forum. I put the link in my signature and posted a total of 8 messages. Then I forgot about the forum and forgot about the product because I got distracted with other things. Got on Clickbank today to practice some Bum Marketing techniques I just learned and found out I had made a $33 sale. Not bad for 8 posts.
Ummh?? Congrats! But is this your first sale after 463 post and 2 years?? Did you mean your first sale with that product, Clickbank, or in general? Not trying to be funny but just curious. Either way, Congrats again!
That is exciting when that happens. Even though I sell my own Clickbank products I ocassionally unawares make a sale from Clickbank products I have promoted in the past but forgot about. And find out later that I was making a few sales from them because my old Clickbank affiliate links sometimes end up floating around in the searcch engines and people find them.
Well, first I found a niche product to promote. Then I joined a niche forum, and put my affiliate link in my signature. Then I posted relevant posts on the forum, especially in topics that were talking specifically about my program (which was how to build solar panels for less than $200, aka Earth4Energy) tl;dr: 1. Cut a hole in a box 2. Put your junk in that box 3. Make her open the box
congrats ... it's just goes to show that's there's a number of different ways and avenues with which to make sales
LOL Hilarious Congrat's though thanks for sharing. It took me about 2 months to make my first sale. But then again i didn't know anything about Internet marketing at all. The only way I knew people where making money online was E-bay...LOL. But I did it the same way. 7 hops for my first sale on a forum.
