No I didnt do them, if I had lol this site would be a lot more appealing. I have some work to do and several things to learn, but this design or how to design was leanr in 2 days. I purchased 5 books on dreamweaver and just started messing around and got to the point that I could create a layout.

Over time I should be able to create better looking real estate sites. Its good forums like this and all you nice folks that will help me go to that next level.

it is very plain, and very orange. maybe lose the orange background and make it grey (maybe #FCFCFC) and use orange for the text links, and black for the text. looks good.

The orange is a bit distracting when trying to read the text on the site. I would suggest rather than making the whole background orange you rather make just the header orange and perhaps stick with a white background for the content part of your site.

I think that is a great first try. Two days of messing with dreamweaver got you far.

I'd spend my time making deals and pay for a designer. I'd check out other sites, make notes as to what you like and get someone else to do it quickly.

That is a good idea, however some of the jobs I have paid for in the past I now know they didnt take long to do because the designer used a template and I now know it doesnt take them that long to set them up but yet they charged 2k for them or more.

Maybe I am looking at it wrong but if I can do what little I did in the short amount of time I did it, then why do they deserve 2k ...lol

I will just keep practicing and soon I hope what I do will be professional. I have a lot left to learn. With 15 sites in mind, I would say it would be a lot cheaper if I learn how to do this, plus most designers dont really know what real estate consumers are looking for IMHO, since I am a real estate agent I have a good idea.

The orange site wasnt colored right but I liked the color, but I needed to put my own personal opinion of that color aside. Thanks again for all the great comments.

Yeah I have played around with a few of the css templates for some of my real estate sites. It is almost like painting by numbers, but there are still some technical things that you must learn in order to make sure the layout of these real estate sites are correct.
