I have created my first blog today. Now how do I incorporate adsense into the site? Do you guys have any sites with adsense I can check out and see how they are done? Any tips and info will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advanced. http://techbytesdaily.blogspot.com
Worry about building content and traffic, not putting adsense on a new site. It will turn off visitors and is pointless unless your traffic is established. I don't even think about adsense for at least 6 months and sometimes a lot longer.
Build a lot of fresh and interesting content and then try to do SEO. Then go for AdSense and you will see great results.
Congratulations, now build up the blog. You need much more content on it to start drawing in traffic. You need to start promoting it on a number of social networking sites. You have to start getting it noticed.
Setting up a blog with the intention of making some money can be very rewarding. Unfortunately, many people do to lack of time and the lack of interest people do not get their blog passed the one-month mark. When deciding on a blog topic you want to make sure that you already know what you want to write about before you start up the blog. Make sure you pick a topic and stick with it. By doing this you will build the readership and this will help you earn money in the long run. Good luck.
It's totally foolishness to drive traffic to a blog that has no content. Even though you are asking help about Adsense, you should not have put the link on the post. First of all, try to start the blog properly and optimize it. And when it gets substantial traffic, think about monetizing then.
Content, traffic, content, traffic, content, and guess what, traffic. Once you get 200 uniques + a day it might be time for Adsense. Congratulations to your first blog!
Don't even worry about "driving traffic" because it won't work. Just get it out there and let it sit.
Thank you all for the feedback and advices. Hasan, I am not trying to drive traffic to my site. I gain nothing by doing this now as I don't have any adsense set up. What can I say, I'm a noob. I'll learn I guess. I put up the link so that I can get feedback as how to best incorporate adsense in to the site. But the consensus is telling me to focus on content and that's what I intend to do. Stefy, thanks for the tip. I do have my own domain but didn't know that I could redirect it to google blog. Now I just need to figure out how to set it up.
You think it's easy?... well, try again. It takes more than just creating a blog and then immediately putting AdSense to your blog to make any money from this. Try promoting your blogs... try learning from different sites, try putting countless hours in front of the computer researching to better your blog... and try putting new content on your site...often. Then do SEO, backlinks, forums, etc. If you get $100 in a few months, you might be lucky... Think about it... weigh the pros and cons... Would it be better for you to work at a local McDonald's... hey you could get $100 in a day versus $100 in 3-6 months?
No one seem to answer your question. Anyway, here's the link that will show you the step by step process of adding AdSense to your new blog. Good luck and I hope you'll achieve your goal to make money with your new blog
Content is the key. If you have good content, traffic will somehow follow. You also have to do some site promotion to increase your traffic more.
I would agree somewhat, but it depends on how you add it to your website, and what the purpose of the site is. I'd also change my advice to: "worry about building content and links". Just put out constant fresh content and have a good linking strategy. That's all there is to it really.
