In the past few months I have tried to make money from affiliate other products
With no much luck, so I am starting my own affiliate hopping that it will sell well, can you please take a look at my pitch page and let me know what you think; do I need to change something to get more affiliates?
Currently I am giving %33 commissions, the product cost is US$49.95.

33% is a very low commision rate. You might want to make your commision more attractice at least 50% to 75%

Remember the affiliate is spending time and money promoting the products for you. But yourself in the shoes of the affiliate.

    Hope this helps,

    Paul

The product idea is very good!

Your sales page is ok (could be longer) but I think a white background is not really the best option. It leaves us with the impression that the page is almost blank...

But way more important than that, you should definitely give your affiliates a higher commission rate. Most of the products on ClickBank offers at least 50%commissions to affiliates. If you keep it to 33%, my guess is that not many people will want to promote your product. It's not just woth all the efforts your affiliates will exert to promote your product.

Now I'm not here to tell you what to do, you created that product and you're the one who will decide, but at least you have my honest opinion.

And finally, congratulations for creating that product! I really love the idea! Hope you will make a lot of money from it!

    A few things here:

    - The first is that you mentioned you've tried but not had much luck trying to sell other peoples' products - that's a bit concerning. Generally, those merchants who are successful on Clickbank are either those with a tremendously popular product, or, more likely, those with an average product but know the ins & outs of affiliate marketing. Trying to set up your own product to sell without knowing how to really sell well is asking for a bit of trouble. Now, your product could well be fantastic - many on Clickbank are indeed great products - but if you're not familiar with the best ways of marketing (as an affiliate), it will be hard to be an affiliate for your own product, much less try to get other affiliates interested.

-The price point as others have mentioned - need to offer 50-75%, probably closer to the 75 in this case.

-The product page seems a bit simplistic to me. What all are the advantages of this software? Why is it so good? Why should I buy it? More screens of it in action, more callouts of what it does, more comparison with other leading translation systems? Other than the audio feature, it seems a lot like the free functionality offered at FreeTranslation.com or other similar sites.

-The testimonials need some work. They need their own box, preferably their own picture from the person that said them, and their name. It's also helpful if their comments can be a bit better grammar-checked to be believable.

-Need more proofreading overall, such as this phrase: "The software is compatible with a variety of applications, such as word processors, ICQ, and Internet browsers.also"

Overall, I think my advice still remains - one way or another, learn the techniques & methods needed to sell Clickbank products (others) before trying to attract affiliates of your own. There's a few thousand products out there on Clickbank for affiliates to choose from - unless they have a compelling reason to sell yours over other peoples', you'll have a very hard time getting affiliates. There's a lot of great info here and elsewhere about how to be successful on Clickbank - I would advise reading over that, and learning how to consistently generate affiliate sales - then return to your product, knowing how to be successful, and make it worthwhile for yourself and affiliates.

    -T

raise your commission as high as you can, dont try to be greedy to your own affliates, this way you'll get more affliates and therefore more sales and more sales equals more money. why would someone promote your product when they could get a higher rate with someone elses, the most successful ones are the highest commission rates

Thanks! your replies are very helpful
I'll try to improve my sale page, can't give more the 50%
I have more expenses on the product such as database royalty and support
