My First Press Release

For one of my sites, im going to do a press release to anounce the site, and also the contest ill be running in order to try and attract new visitors to the site.

Has anyone ever done a similar press release - do you have examples or tips etc?

Yes press release is good thing and it's a cost-effective marketing tools to builds credibility to mass. I would suggest to deal with facts and make it newsworthy and more specefic.
