Greetings; I am an engineer in Texas. A big part of my job is computer technology related. For years, I have been thinking that a computer geek like me should be able to make money on the internet. Afterall, I understand some things about programming, web, marketing, search engines, HTML, XML, Google, PayPal, EBay, etc. Like I said, I am a genuine geek. So, I figured that the only way to find out will be to try. My plan is to work on this part time (in my spare time late at night) for a few months straight and then see how I am progressing. I would be interesting if there are others out there like me, and what tips and encouragement you might offer. Thanks!
Exactly! What do you got to lose except for some sleep. I'm sure with enough time and dedication, you'll make some money. Welcome to Digital Point!
As a newbie to the forum myself, I say welcome. And, although no one else said it, you've landed in a great place to learn, learn, and learn some more. Look around, read, read, read; find out who on the forum has loads and loads of posts in the section you wish to work within and read. Ask them questions; they're very nice people and are willing to help whenever they can. These people have so much to share and do so continually. I guess you could say, I'm high on DP. That's because I'm learning so much. I've got much more to learn than you do because you've got a good handle on technology and its inner workings. There's a plethora of knowledge to be gained here so go for it. I'm sure we'll see you here soon declaring your rapid wealth growth in IM and offerings of How To's. You'll do well. All the best to you. StelStar1
