My first Paypal Dispute

    Hello All,
    I'm a freelance developer and i've been doing some work in the forums for the past few weeks, i took on a job, recieved a downpayment after 2 days when i had completed the work ( not submitted it to the client ), i logged into my email to find that i had a chargeback claim in my inbox.

    Now I had been updating the client with regards to the status of the project and my initial timeline was two days ( so i was on schedule ), and unto a day like today ( about 10 days after the claim ) I have yet to hear from the client. I generally assume that he found a prebuilt package or a cheaper solution.

    My questions are:
    1. I now have some funds in holding, in the resolution center the history shows that i have made responses to the claim but it doesn't show anything from the buyer. How long does paypal take to resolve claims?
    2. I noticed from the initial transaction that the Buyer is unverified, does this in anyway affect the resolution process ( I am a verified Premier Member )
    3. What experiences have any of you had with situations such as these and how were they resolved?
