Hello guys, I just wanted to get some opinions about my first month's progress in blogging. My Adsense profits are not on the map yet, but I'm trying to gauge what kind of progress I need to be making before I begin potentially to see profits. I accidentally removed my first analytics code so some of my week one statistics were not calculated. So far in the first month of being live: 2595 Visits 2,163 U/V 100-150 unique daily views (average of last week) 5,621 Page Views 1118 Twitter Followers Overall Bounce Rate of 65% (Has been down to 57% this week) 80 Facebook Fans
That is quite amazing success if you ask me! For a first month you're sky rocketing in terms of traffic. Keep this going...
Thanks! I've put in a lot of work but I know the best is yet to come. I'm just wondering when may i start seeing profits in google if the traffic continues to rise (which it should)? Are there any other avenues to explore?
Yes, they are! So far most of my traffic comes from those two sources. Reddit is also good for a kick start but there are a lot of trolls there. It depends on what you post.
That's not bad, no bad at all. 100 visits a day after a month is good, now you just need to keep working on getting that bounce rate lower (although it's already pretty good). Then start monetizing it, which it seems like you are already doing with adsense, although it's going to take a lot more visitors to see any results with adsense. I would go with some affiliate programs or maybe even create a product of your own and sell it on your blog. Anyway congrats that's awesome progress! Keep up the good work!
Wow that's very good mate, it's been 1 month since my website went live and im only getting 5 uniques a day
First off 100-150 unique views the first week of being live is not bad, those are impressive stats, just continue whatever promotion you were doing to reach those figures
Your blog has a very good potential. You had certainly done a proper keyword research. Your promotion is super provided your aren't spending fortune on ads.
Thank you sir! Much appreciated. You touched on one topic I'm curious about. Adsense allows for affiliate programs to be promoted along side it? What are the guidelines on this?
Thanks for the positive comments everyone. This is a great forum to learn and receive good feedback. As I said, I'm mainly sticking to Twitter promotion and Facebook. I have a facebook ad that is up and it's bring in maybe 3-5 likes on a good day. Are there any other advertising options I should explore?
